09:25 pm: wow, it's been too long.
well, it has been a awful long time since I updated. It's hard for me to keep up sometimes with school. I spend most of my time at the gym. I have to waer a $300 bridesmaid dress in nine months and I have alot of weight to drop and lumps to smooth out before then. When I am home I spend most of my time crocheting. I have to say crocheting has become an obessession, blankets, scarfs, sweaters, you name it.

07:18 pm: Well, July is nearly over. I simply cannot believe it, before I know it, I'll be back at school. I supppose right now my thoughts are so far from going back to my classroom. I've had the most unusual thing happen to me last night. I was unable to sleep late last night so I decided to go into a chatroom which I haven't done since I was in college. I started chatting with a gentleman who lives about 30 minutes away from me. He grew up in the town in which I live. The most unbelievable part is this; his mother happens work in the same school as I do. What are the chances of two people who haven't been in a chatroom in a number of years entering the same room only to find that they have mutual acquaintances. I felt as though the world had closed in and we talked long into the wee hours of morning.

07:09 pm: work stinks

I despise Sunday nights.  Right now I'm supposed to be writing lesson plans for the coming week but I just can seem to get motivated.  I find it difficult to plan for weeks when I don't see all my classes for their double period lab.  The worst part of my lack of motivation is that i'm not even wasting my time on something good.  I'm sitting here and I'm watching american's funniest home video which actually ceased to be funny after the first season.  Time to try and work.

05:35 pm: the land of the free
I have learned something new and in my mind, something disturbing. Students in schools are no longer required to stand during the playing of the National Anthem and the pledge of allegiance. My recent obesession with BHD has given me a new appreciation for the armed forces and reminder of just how precious life is. My college roommate's dad is overseas with the military, this is his second tour. I know her family misses him very much and she worries about him. I think about this as I see ungrateful, spoiled, teenagers sitting during the national anthem and the pledge. In my mind, I think how can these children call themselves Americans. They live here and enjoy the perks the US has to offer but can give her the "props" she is do. I don't remember being that way a teenager which was not that long ago but then my mom taught me to be respectful and thankful for what you are given.

10:06 am: Introductions
Well, I suppose I should actually write in this thing being as I have gone through the trouble of setting it up. I actually started this so I could read the friends-locked BHD fanfiction. I have been through a fanfiction evolvution, I guess you could say. Simply ages ago, when I was little more than a teenager, I quite enjoy nysnc and bsb fanfiction, as they were my obessession at the time. I have since grown up and so have my tastes in reading materials and music for that matter. I, now, read BHD, LOTR, Harry Potter, Troy, and occassional Mighty Ducks. I particualarly enjoy angsty stuff and hurt/comfort so I'll take any suggests anyone might have.
I have yet to write a fanfiction of my own in all the years I have been reading it. I think it's my insecurities over my writing abilities. I have been toying with the idea of writing a Todd hurt/comfort story from his point of view and dealing with the trials and tribulations he goes through as recovers and rehabs after his accident. I take suggests on that matter too.
I'm absolute dork for the voice of an angel, Josh Groban. I could listen to that voice forever and never grow tired of it. His long out of controls curls don't hurt either. I also love Orlando Bloom, Eric Bana, Alan Rickman, Josh Hartnett, the barenaked ladies, and John Mayer, among others.
With all that said I guess I shall finish, I can write more later.
I would like to know how to get mood icons that everyone has and how do I get one those icon things on here.
